Cambridge English dictionary defines checkmate as “a situation in which someone has been defeated or a plan cannot develop or continue.”

On October 10th, General Manager Akbar and General Manager Haroon made a trade. GM Akbar received rookie Christian Kirk (WR, Arizona Cardinals) for rookie Ronald Jones (RB, Tampa Bay Bucs).

“Being winless is not fun. After reading an article from Adam Schefter mentioning how Jones would be the lead back in Tampa over 3-year vet Peyton Barber, I had to try to make a move. Yes, I gave up the better player now, but I have to take these gamble,” said GM Haroon after the trade was processed.

GM Mostafa believes it was a steal for GM Akbar stating: “F$*#ing steal Akbar” on Oct. 10th. Adding: “Kirk is gonna be huge for you if you make it… Rosen to Kirk is gonna be deadly combo.”

Following the announcement of the trade, GM Edgar stated: “Haroon told me that he was gonna add someone off of waivers & trade him to Akbar. I didn’t think it would work but I was wrong.”

And this is where things got exciting.

GM Akbar followed this bold statement by GM Edgar with a downright backhand.

“Clear proof of Edgar, once again, being a fake news guys. Kirk was DRAFTED by the Azizi bros [Yema and Bilal] and Haroon acquired him via trade, whereas ROJO [Ronald Jones] was dumped by Edgar and I grabbed him off the wire… so the total opposite of what Edgar just said. #checkmate”

“Fake news” was not a term many people used two years ago, but it is now seen as one of the greatest threats to democracy, free debate and the Western order. As well as being a favorite term of Donald Trump. Per an article by The Telegraph, it was also named 2017’s word of the year, raising tensions between nations, and may lead to regulation of social media.

In an interview with GM Dizz, he mentioned this about GM Edgar regarding the drama he brings to the league: “I enjoy having that cock sucking piece of s*^# causing drama. It’s nice to see that f@&* face Akbar squirm and cry like the little b*@&# he is. Keep it on Edgar, you dirty Trump supporting cock sucking turd.”

GM Edgar followed the accusation of bringing fake news to the league by claiming he’s won the debate by using “#winning” since GM Akbar wasted his time looking up the transactions of WR Christian Kirk.

I was sent a private message regarding this argument from an anonymous GM.

As you can see, GM Edgar admits to be “checkmated” by GM Akbar. This is the first time in The Coliseum’s history where we believe GM Edgar admitted to be in the wrong.

GM Edgar continues his conversation with confusion. Wondering why GM Akbar would waste his time researching a guy [WR Christian Kirk]. GM Akbar is a previous champion, many ages ago, and currently ranked 6th defeating one of the unbeaten teams, GM Kayvon. Though GM Akbar won the battle against GM Kayvon, GM Dizz does not think team “Sandman” is a team people should fear.

All we know about the anonymous GM is that he has a Verizon phone, and carries private conversations with GM Edgar. Who is this person?

GM Dizz sent a statement this morning: “In a battle of the two I hate the most, that rat [GM Akbar], weasel, geriatric fool someone how bested the witch [GM Kayvon] from the little mermaid who stole Ariela’s voice. Now if only a ship crashed into him, my life would be complete. Also, I hope Brady tears an ACL, Coach Belichick has a heart attack, and Robert Kraft get arrested for tax fraud. He doesn’t deserve that loss, but glad someone took out the wizard [GM Kayvon], but he’s not a team to fear. I mean hell, he just traded a potential lead back in Tampa for a WR who has 19 catches in 5 games with 1 TD.” GM Dizz concluded with a sarcastic “Nice trade!”

Neither GMs have faced each other, but it will be exciting to see what happens as they play each other in the last game of the season. As of right now, GM Edgar ranks 2 as the only other undefeated team (GM Mostafa other undefeated team).
